At Iceni Metal Detecting Tours, we specialise in guided metal detecting experiences for respectful, enthusiastic visitors from around the world. Based on the outskirts of Norwich, our passion lies in uncovering and preserving the region’s rich historical landscape—with the utmost care and integrity.

We’re currently expanding our partnerships with landowners and farmers across Norfolk and Suffolk and are inviting those with suitable farmland to collaborate with us.

• 💷 Up to £250 per day paid directly to you for access to your land

• ✅ Fully insured tours, covering all activities and participants

• 📜 All finds responsibly recorded with local museum services and the ELU.

• 📖 Compliance with all official guidelines, including NCMD and the Treasure Act

• 🌱 Minimal disruption—small, hand-dug holes always backfilled and left tidy

• 🤝 Transparency—you’ll be informed of all significant discoveries

• 💎 Fair sharing of high-value finds, in addition to the daily fee

Our Tours

Each group includes approximately 10 experienced detectorists. These are small-scale, respectful tours that are always supervised and adhere to strict codes of conduct. We emphasize education, appreciation of history, and responsible detecting practices.
